By Train

From Geneva-Cointrin and Milano-Malpensa airports, you can reach Zermatt by train in about 4 hours; from Zurich-Kloten Airport, the journey takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes. The journey from Bern takes about 2 hours and from Basel about 3 hours and 15 minutes.

By Car

Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. You may only drive as far as Täsch. There, you can park your vehicle at the Matterhorn Terminal and then continue comfortably to Zermatt by taxi or train.

Pick up Service

Whether you arrive by taxi or train, thanks to our complimentary pick-up service, we will meet you at the respective station and bring you and your luggage to the Alex by electric vehicle.

LONG-DISTANCE TRANSFERS

Taxi Fredy offers reliable transfers to and from airports and cities in Switzerland and abroad (Germany, France, Italy, and other destinations).

Depending on group size, vehicles are available for 1 to 16 people — from limousines to
minivans and minibuses.

PARKING IN TÄSCH INCLUDING TRANSFER

For a convenient arrival, parking spaces are available at Fredy Parking and Welcome Parking in Täsch. All parking spaces include the round-trip transfer between Täsch and Zermatt.

Transfer prices:
1–3 people: CHF 30.– per trip (CHF 40.– per trip between 22:00 and 06:00)
From 4 people: CHF 10.– per person and trip
The taxi service is generally available 24 hours a day.

VEHICLE WELLNESS DURING YOUR STAY

Over the Christmas and New Year period, Taxi Fredy offers a special additional service: while you enjoy your stay in Zermatt, your vehicle can be professionally repaired, painted, refurbished, or polished at the in-house body shop — so you travel home again with your vehicle in top condition.
