Access
Zermatt is easily reached by train from Geneva-Cointrin, Milano-Malpensa and Zurich-Kloten airport in approx 3½-4 hour. Sion (Sitten), 70 km (44 miles) from Zermatt, is serviced by various airlines from different European cities. Zermatt hasa heliport, which is operated by Air Zermatt.
Motorists can drive as far as Täsch, from where trains and minibus taxis operate a shuttle service the remaining 5km (3 miles) to Zermatt. Parking facilities are available in Täsch. By arrival after 8p.m. please inform the hotel.
