Since 1 May 2009, smokers in Switzerland have had to step outside to light one up: the national smoking ban came into effect then. Now Hotel Alex is offering the small but select minority of cigar smokers an exclusive place in which to enjoy a smooth Cuban while savouring a glass of whisky – or two: the Smokies smoking room.
